I aim to embody the endurance and precision required in construction work through a symbolic performance by executing these drawings using construction tools and materials that come directly off of the shelf. By creating high-fashion luxury plaid patterning through these working-class materials I address the conflicting symbolism of plaid patterning and its relationship to labor, class, and consumerism.
